Privacy policy
This site is a simple guide. There are no accounts, no logins, no comment boxes and no forms, and nothing is bought or paid for on these pages, so there is very little data to collect in the first place.
Data we gather
Aggregate analytics, once enabled, records the basics: which pages were read, roughly which country the visit came from, what kind of device was used, and which ticket links were clicked. The click data is the only measurement that matters to us, because it shows whether a page actually helped someone decide about visiting the aquarium under Siam Paragon, or whether it was a dead end. It exists to tell us if a page is useful, not to identify anyone. We hold no names, no email addresses and no payment details, because we never ask for them and have nothing to sell you.
Cookies and third parties
The analytics tool sets its own small cookies. If a page embeds a map or an image pulled from elsewhere, that provider is contacted when the page loads and may set cookies under its own privacy policy rather than this one.
When you click through to a ticket listing, the booking platform sets its own cookie so that a purchase of the SEA LIFE entry ticket can be credited back to this site. Those cookies belong to the platform and are governed by its privacy policy, not this one. The same applies to the aquarium operator's own site if you reach it from here: once you leave, you are on somebody else's terms. The disclosure page names the parties involved and explains the arrangement.
What we never do
- Sell or share visitor data with anyone.
- Run ad networks, retargeting pixels or third-party advertising cookies.
- Ask for or store an email address. There is no newsletter and no account.
- Take payments, reserve entry times or handle bookings. The purchase of your aquarium ticket happens on the third-party booking platform you reach from this site, never here.
- Host a contact form. The contact page is a plain mailto link, so an email to us travels through your own mail provider and nowhere else.
Hosting
The site is served through a standard hosting provider, which keeps routine server logs, including IP addresses, for security and abuse prevention. We do not look through those logs to work out who visited which page.
Your choices
Browser tracking protection, an ad blocker or a Do Not Track setting will each stop the analytics script, and every page still works when they do. If you would rather leave no tracking cookie behind at all, the disclosure page explains how to reach the same ticket listing directly, so you can book your aquarium visit without passing through this site at all.
Questions: email us. See also the disclosure page.
